THE PROJECT

Thundered Bowl & Social is a completely redesigned bowling center that was originally an old-style bowling alley. It previously featured 10 lanes of traditional duckpin bowling, which the owners requested to be removed, keeping only the traditional bowling lanes. In place of the duckpin lanes, the design expanded the bar area and added 50 arcade games at the back.

US Design Lab handled master planning, exterior design, interior design, and full branding, including renaming the center. The redesigned layout features an expanded seating area for the snack bar and bar, along with a small stage for karaoke and live performances. Additional attractions include four dart lanes and two golf simulators. A tunnel-like entrance leads to the arcade area, designed for teens and young adults.
